Lavin Entrepreneurial Action Program

The Lavin Program is a unique program at the University of Washington tailored to young entrepreneurs. Anyone from across campus departments is invited to apply(although most of us are business majors), and entrance is competitive. It’s focus is to provide the resources college-aged entrepreneurs need, such as networking with the entrepreneurial community, learning about starting businesses and actually creating and running businesses in small groups.
Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs (UW)
ACE is the entrepreneurship club at the Foster School of Business, although anyone is welcome to join. We went through a leadership restructuring during the 2008-2009 school year, and we are now growing. We bring in speakers from the Seattle entrepreneurial community each month and, and this year we are looking to add a hands-on workshop to our monthly schedule as well. I encourage you to come to a meeting if you have any aspirations of starting your own business or are already in the process, as I believe ACE is a valuable resource at the University and will continue to be so into the future.
