USAA iPhone App
This is the most useful app in the App Store and a great use of the iPhone hardware and software. If you don’t have USAA, it’s an insurance cooperative that now offers banking services. Its business model is instead of building branches and installing ATMs around the country, it takes its infrastructure capital and builds advanced information systems that let you deposit checks by scanning them on a desktop computer or taking pictures of them on your iPhone. This app saves me so much time by being able to deposit checks in about 1 minute anywhere I have cell service.
